  2. Pod Systems: Pod systems consist of two main components: a pod that contains the e-liquid and a small device with a rechargeable battery. The pod is detachable and can be refilled with e-liquid when empty. Pod systems are known for their simplicity and portability, making them popular among new vapers. They offer a balance between convenience and customization, as some pod systems allow you to replace the coil within the pod for a more personalized experience.

  3. Vape Pens: Vape pens are cylindrical devices with a battery, a tank or atomizer, and a mouthpiece. They are larger than disposable vapes and pod systems, offering longer battery life and larger e-liquid capacity. Vape pens are versatile and suitable for both beginner and intermediate vapers. Battery: Every vape device is powered by a battery. There are two main types to consider: disposable and rechargeable. Tank: The tank is the component that connects to the battery, and it plays a crucial role in vaping. It's the place where you fill up with e-liquid, the substance that produces the vapor. When it comes to vaping, there are two main styles to consider: Mouth to Lung (MTL) and Direct to Lung (DTL).

Mouth to Lung (MTL) vaping replicates the sensation of smoking a traditional cigarette. It involves drawing the vapor into your mouth first, then inhaling it into your lungs, just like you would with a cigarette. This style provides a familiar and satisfying experience for those transitioning from smoking.

Direct to Lung (DTL) vaping, on the other hand, mimics the style of smoking a shisha or hookah. With DTL vaping, you inhale the vapor directly into your lungs, bypassing the mouth. This method typically produces larger vapor clouds and offers a more intense flavor experience.

E-liquid: The e-liquid is the liquid that is vaporized to create the clouds you inhale. It is available in a wide range of flavors and nicotine strengths to suit your preferences. E-liquids typically consist of four main ingredients: Vegetable Glycerin (VG), Propylene Glycol (PG), flavorings, and nicotine (which is optional).

Vegetable Glycerin (VG) is a natural substance that contributes to increased vapor density, resulting in thick, satisfying clouds. It also acts as a natural sweetener, enhancing the flavor of the e-liquid.

Propylene Glycol (PG) serves as a carrier for the flavorings in the e-liquid. It helps deliver the taste and aroma, while also providing a throat hit sensation that some vapers enjoy. The combination of VG and PG ratios can vary in e-liquids, allowing you to personalize your vaping experience.

Coils: Coils are a vital component of the tank that plays a key role in heating the e-liquid and transforming it into vapor. It's important to note that coils are specific to the type of tank you are using, and in most cases, they are included with the tank when purchased.

When looking at coils, you may come across the Ohm (Ω) symbol, which represents resistance. The resistance of a coil affects your vaping experience in terms of vapor production and flavor intensity.

High Ohm Resistances are designed for mouth to lung (MTL) vaping, resembling the sensation of smoking a traditional cigarette. These coils are well-suited for higher nicotine dosages, as they provide a satisfying throat hit without sacrificing flavor.

Low Ohm Resistances, on the other hand, are preferred by cloud chasers who enjoy producing large vapor clouds. These coils are typically used with lower nicotine dosages and pair well with high Vegetable Glycerin (VG) e-liquids. They prioritize vapor production over throat hit intensity.
